Here are the numbers off the 235:

Is this a good swap or am I looking at a lot of messing around to make things work.

I don't have experience with a '37, but it's common to swap those engines. Remove the front engine plate on the 216 and replace the 235 front plate with it. It'll make the swap pretty easy. You should have no trouble bolting everything together. Check the Tech Tips pages for additional help.

I think its the same as the tech tip, but if you've got their catalog, you've got the instructions.

Drilling the mount holes in the existing plate is waaaaayyyy easier IMO. See the tech tips for a template.
