Has any one used the new springs that can be purchased from the suppliers? Is the quality good enough or is there a problem with fitting? My truck is a 46.

You need to be more specific. I see no threats or warnings when I go there and I am running spybot & zonealarm with the latest updates available. My guess is the threats are not associated with Bruces link.

The last set of 1/2 ton truck springs that I bought from Jim Carter are as good (and original-looking) as an the excellent set of springs that I bought 8-10 years ago from Eaton Detroit Springs (whose prices now are quite higher).

Monroe,
I liked the springs I got from St. Louis....however....

They wrap them in shrink wrap..
crap beat out of them by the "brown army" (UPS)
They spay their name on each one in yellow.

I had mine repainted and so far so good...
