This stolen truck was mentioned in a thread in the Greasy Spoon.

It was stolen in Austin, Texas from the Omni hotel on or about 4/9/2010.

I know I'd hate to have my beat up truck stolen, I'd really hate it after I did that much work done to it.

Woogeroo,
Great post, I had a 1955 1st series stolen, police recovered it in an alley in the war-zone of Los Angeles. Stripped. Upon pick-up at police impound they had to move it around with a large forklift. I hope he finds his truck. Thief fux@#%‘s! Will keep an eye out for it in LA.

I am 80 miles west of Austin and will of course be on the lookout. One would think that the Omni would have surveillance cameras.

I live just outside of Austin. Read the HAMB board, looks like it was painted from his comments. If I can get more details, I can drive around and take a look next time I am in the area.

Would post on HAMB, but I am not a member of that site.
