Well, the thing is still giving me headaches. We have come to the conclusion that the head may have been milled too much and the valve is hitting the head after the engine warms up. I have pulled the head to look for marks on the piston or valve. I have been told that a 235 valve would hit the piston flat and may not leave a mark. I did not find any marks. I'm looking for a new engine. I'll then tear into the old one. I'm looking at a 58,235 tomorrow. | | |
