Just wondering what tire size you guys are running? I purchased new wheels 15x7 6-5.5. I was running P205/60R-15's on the front and P255/60R-15's on the rear to give it a bit of hot rod look, even though its original mostly. These tires now need to be replaced and was looking at more of equal tire size on all 4 this time around. Any suggestions

From what you said it sounds like you have two different wheel widths, {15x7 6-5.5 }, which doesn't add up to running the same size on all four.

I would run as wide as I could on the front and the same on the rear, if you want all four the same.

I don't know how you use your truck, but things to consider when you go wider up front are how it will affect steering and handling.

The wider you go up front the more you have to deal with what the road gives you. Without PS it's harder to steer with wide tires up front, especially when parking.

{15x7 6-5.5 } - Is the size of all 4 Rims that were purchased. Tire size was different however. Short in the front and tall and wide in the rear. My truck will be used for just cruising around the local area 50 mile radius.

Was wanting to look at keep the wheels all the same so I could rotate the tires, etc.

If you convert mm to in. to see what will best fit that wheel which is 7 in wide you will see that-
205 = 8"
215 = 8 1/2"
225 = 8 7/8"
235 = 9 1/4"
255 = 10" too wide for that wheel,needs an 8 in wheel.

I'd be looking at a 225 or 235 as my choice, but that depends on what will work up front.
You already know a 205 works, the question is how much larger can you go up front.
A 215 is not much wider than 205, but you could could consider it also.

One other thing... different makes of tires will be slightly different in size even though the listed size is the same.

It's like...all tires are not created equal, just close !

As far as width I am fine with a 205, just wanting more height without running into issues(fender, steering, etc). Right now the 205 60R -15 looks small in the wheel well. One to fill it out better.

If you're gonna stay at stock height put some 235 75R 15's on it. They're about 28.8 inches tall. To find the best look on your truck find some free worn out tires at a tire shop in different sizes and mount them on your rims. Put them on to see how they look. The front will be where you need to check clearances the most. Get a 215 75's and a 225 and a 235 to compare. It might cost 20 bucks but will save you money down the road by getting tires you like the look of and fit nicely.

P205-75-R15's are 26.5" diameter, P215-75-R15's are 27" diameter as a comparison. Just measured mine from a couple of trailers I have.

I had to run 1/4 spacers Due to the Dishonest people at Stockton Wheel. The tires where included in the package.

Tires are not truck tires.
I have front disc set up and modern tie-rods on the steering.

It would be nice if the forum had a sticky where members could post a pic of thier bolt and include just tire and wheel info, tire wheel size, spacer, mods, stock, lower, hot rod.
