1949chevrolettruck Shop Shark 1 Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 231 minnesota	Just got a new speedometer cable for my 49truck on a 64 4spd 4x4 chassis,and drive line, it didn't have one before and i cant find were to hook it up to, i heard it hooks up to the transmission but i don't see anywhere to hook it up to. There is a spot on the Transfer but the cable doesn't seem to want to go into it? could the old one just be broke off in there or am i looking in the wrong spot?

brushtruck New Guy B Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 15 North Carolina	It is located where the output shaft comes out. As stated earlier it makes a sharp 90 degree turn when it comes out. My truck has the 90 degree turn and a grease fitting on it.
