Chevy 51 1/2 ton

On my 250 motor I am using a holley carb with an offenhauser manifold. I was wondering how to connect the wiper motor on it? There are two threaded ports on the side closes to the firewall on the mannifold. http://www.jegs.com/i/Offenhauser/750/5416/10002/-1?parentProductId=764102 Can I use one of these with 90 degree fitting to feed the wip\per motor. Also I think, if I use Delco fuel pump 6603 I should have the required vacuumed fuel pump.....Am I correct on this?

Thx

I think the manifold port you want to use for vacuum wipers is the smaller one near the center of the manifold.

You could use either port on the intake for a manifold vacuum source. you can get adaptors that plug in to hook your vacuum hose to. Or there should be a vacuum port on your carb. What kind of Holley are you using? I run an Offy and Holley 350 2 barrel on mine.

I am using the the same, a holley 350 2 barrel. I thought the vacuum port on the carb needed to be connected to the distributor advance...Am I wrong to assume this?

Just another question I don't have a vacuum fuel pump but was thinking of buying the 6603 Delco to hook up as original. Can I get away with simply hooking up the wiper motor to the manifold or would I benefit from having the wiper motor hooked up from the fuel pump and the manifold to the fuel pump too?

Gotgasd, do you have a picture of your set up? I haven't done my accelarator linkage or watering route for my heat plate and can really benefit with some visual. I am mentally struggling how am I going to run lines from the heater to the heating valve, then to the water pump and the to the manifold....That's alot of hoses

Thank you

Thx DrewP, I think you are right the smaller hole would be easier to find an adapter for.

Here's mine. As you can see I ran my carb with the float bowl towards the valve cover. Easier for throttle hookup and my manual choke too. I ran the one hose off my heat plate around the back of the motor. My offy valve cover is closer to the thermostat housing so no room for a hose to go through there.
Nice to see you using Langdon's headers.

After looking at a Delco 6603 fuel pump I realized that thing is big but it shows to be right application for a 250 chevy motor. Anyone got a picture of one installed? I am afraid it my interfer with the distributor.

Thx

this is my set up on a 235. the lighter colored pipe goes to the dual action fuel pump and the other goes down to the power brakes under the floor.
