No, this isn't about household caulk, I bought a tube of seam sealer and the thing dried up very quickly despite my capping the tube with a tight fitting cap from a Magic Marker which usually works with household caulk. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | I use electrical tape than pinch the end and fold over and give it one more wrap.

Dip the caulking tube, whatever it is into the a can of plasticoat (the stuff you dip pliers into to make rubber handles). It works GREAT!
