I downloaded their installation manual and from that it looks like an easy install and very detailed. It leads me to believe that it would be a pretty good system. All the reviews I read are good, but they probably dont post the bad reviews. We bought it at the Springfield swap meet from a street rod place out of Dallas. They're pretty much all the same. The one we got has 4 outlets under the dash and fits behind it really well. It went in easily and works great. I also got an Alan Grove bracket set to move the alt. to the drivers side, that made it much easier to fit every thing. We've had it 2 years with no problems.
'65 C-10, 65 L-60, 65 C-80, 72 C-60 & and a bunch of old Chevy cars.
Never time to do it right, always time to do it over.

I met a fella who has had all kinda of go fast custom cars and he swears by Vintage Air kits.
He told me he has tried all the different ones, but he said theirs fit better, quicker and with less aggravation.
I dunno myself, I'm just going from his experience.
As Tony mentioned, factory would prolly fit better.

This one would be good if you had a good heater and defrost system and just needed to add A/C. They would put these in full size cars in the 60's, so it should pretty much freeze you out of a pickup cab. It is smaller than the Cool Pack that would have been available on your '63. Pricing should be pretty good as well. | | |
