Any ideas? Thanks, Alan | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 52 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 52 | There should be a connection at the base of the carburetor. Some are in the front and some are behind where it may be hard to see. | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | If it has a Roch. model B carb ther is a 1/8 in. pipe thread hole on the valve cover side that should have a fitting in it. The hose or tube attaches to the fitting. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. The fitting is on the carburetor throat above where it bolts to the intake manifold. It faces the valve cover so it's hard to see. If you have the model B carburetor, I believe the vacuum line was hard lined to the carburetor with a threaded fitting. Since you mentioned HOSE, you may have a hose bib in the same location. | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 4 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 4 | | | |
