Hi folks! JR. here. Noobie to the forums, but not old Chevy's. Got my first classic truck in August. First "keeper" anyway. Its a "58" 1/2 ton BBW long bed and we just LOVE IT!! Came with a decent paint job( almost candy orange) which my girl and I actually really wanted. Nicely massaged 283 and a 4 speed. I really want some modern amenities and a 4 speed auto, so sorry purists, It's going to get clipped... It is far from original anyway so. If I ever figure out how to do pics here I'll post some.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hi JR welcome from 'upstate' UK!

I hope you work out how to post pics real soon, your truck sounds nice.
Have a look at the Image posting policy in the left sidebar.
Good luck.

Welcome to Stovebolt! Where in Upstate are you located? I live in Ontario NY near Rochester. Sounds like you are enjoying your truck. That's what it's all about! Good Luck! ;-)
