I forget what its called. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | That is called an In-liner filter, or something like that. It bolts on in place of the oil distributor cover. Instead of returning filtered oil to the pan, the filtered oil goes to the rocker arm supply. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 419 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 419 | Hey, truckernix:
This in-liner filter sounds like a good idea. The Blue Funk has the type you mentioned, where the filtered oil is returned to the pan.
I wonder if there is any such animal like this in-liner filter currently available? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,426 ODSS President | | ODSS President Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 1,426 | That is called an In-liner filter, or something like that. I've seen one in the past 15 years but I don't get around much.

They are a little neater with no external lines. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 21 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 21 | | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 474 | Thanks for the pictures. It's a cool looking filter that generates a lot of conversation. Nice job.
