I was too lazy to wash it so I waited til it rained yesterday. It's still pretty dirty but you can get the idea. Is that a Factory Trailer Brake on the Column? Also a first for me, I've never seen a C-80 with narrow fenders. ...Interesting.

Your truck has the same white/blue color combination that our old trucks had, sure does bring back alot of memories. Inside cab picture looks like the tractor is clean and original, very few look as good as yours. Outside cab shots look great, sheet metal looks straight, the '64 thru '66 heavy Chevys have the best appearance from the front in my opinion. 409, 5 & 2, air brakes, cast spoke wheels, massive 5th wheel, you've got an impressive truck. You do need a set of air horns to complete it. And you say this truck 'is dirty, needs a wash'??? Looks mighty nice to me...

There were hundreds of them hauling grain from the Texas Panhandle to the Gulf in the 60's. Very few of them survived. Most of them had a Neway drag axle and often grossed close to 100,000 lbs. I have a 65 LCF60 and it does have wider fenders than the 80. I have also noticed that the torsion bar trucks have wider fenders, there is a 62 C-80, 409 truck here in town and the fenders are wider than mine.
