(power disc brakes on the front with spacers) Thanks | | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 188 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 188 | There are a bunch that have the same 6x5.5 bolt pattern. However you need to check the centre bore on the wheel. Colorado wheels are smaller I think. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 22 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 22 | What are some? will A LATE MODEL SILVERADO FIT?---- tHANKS | | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 188 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 188 | Use ebay as a search tool like I did. Look for 6x5.5 wheels. There's lots on there. Some have good descriptions which include the bore size. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 238 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 238 | The steel "Rally" wheels from a Chevy K5/Blazer will fit. They're 6 lug, 15" x 8" wide. Backspace is 3.5" so they clear the stock steering arms OK. I have these wheels fitted to my '50 truck, the wheel rims clear the 12" disc brakes I have fitted without a spacer, and although they are wider than the stock rim, they still clear the wheel arches.

I am currently running 17" after-market wheels with 265/70/17s that came off a 2006 Silverado. My brother tells me the Chevy Colorado wheels are a 6 on 5, as opposed to the 6 on 5.5 you need. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 36 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 36 | My truck is a '49 3100 with stock brakes & suspension. I have some aftermarket 15" alum. rims that were on a '89 Toyota 4x4. These were very common in late 80's/early 90's. It gives about 3/4" clearance on tie rods with no rubbing issues. Looks really good, too. 225/75 front & 31/10.5 on rear. These wheels are 6bolt with 12 holes perimeter design. I did have to upgrade the studs (stock 7/16) to longer 1/2" with same size shank. Stock Toyota steels rub the tie rods. | | |
