I have a 1948 two ton with a 1955 engine. I took my radiator in to a shop to have it checked out since I was doing some work on the front end,and they found a couple of leaks. They want over $600 to re-core it. Places like Jim Carter has them listed, but are they only for 1/2 ton trucks? Is the two ton a bigger radiator?

If minor they can fix if the core is good.....
There is a good Rad shop near me that works on the old stuff...

I never noticed it leak when it was running, and they supposedly flushed it and I poured out a bunch of crude when I got home. I was just talking to my neighbor and he told me about one in Haney. If that doesn't pan out, what is the name of the one in Richmond?

I see from the postings above for the 1952 rad that I probably could have bought a 1/2 ton rad from one of the after market suppliers like Jim Carter.
