I have a 1959 chevy 3100,with a 238,3 speed
OD trans. I am going to put a new clutch in. Does anyone know what the diameter and how many splines on the trans input shaft is? i would like to have the new clutch before I take it apart. Thanks

might be 10.5" ["standard" for the V8], but locally that takes ordering in, will fit 11" [factory option] and NAPA will likely have it on the shelf, just ask for it by application - 10 spline .... get a complete kit while you're doing it!
