Was not sure which forum to post this question in. Can anyone tell me what size tire is recommended for a 1967 C10. The truck has P225/75R15 on it now. The current tires look like they have been rubbing against the fender wells.

What do you have for rims. I had 225's on my stock rims and no rubbing on my 67 gmc. Had 30x9.5x15's on it when I bought it and no rubbing. 225's are about 28 inches high. The 30x9.5's are 30 inches high. Is your truck stock height and suspension?

I was searching for the tire size for my '67 yesterday and on the 67-72 truck forum they said that the closest to stock(factory basic were G78's, there were other options) is a 205/75R15. If your truck is stock height you should have no problems with that tire, as gotgasd said.

If you suspect it's rubbing somewhere get someone to bounce the truck while you watch from underneath. Could be worn springs or shocks. Turn the steering all the way each way and check that while bouncing too.
