Has anyone had any success modifying the "AD" seat back so it's not so up-right. I love driving my '48 1-ton, but the the seatback is killing me. Thx

The designers at GM weren't concerned with posture or comfort when they got to the seat. I've had my seat reuphostered and the guy added some padding to the back and bottom, that helps. On top of that they didn't think anybody over 5' tall was going to drive thier trucks. If it,s a tight fit some bolters have resorted to shortning the steering column. Really not much you can do with the seat/frame.
