Ive been told grey but also the chevy blue/green is correct. Some help would be great right now. Also has anyone tried the POR15 Engine Paint kit? I did do a few searches and came up empty handed on the 58-59 colors, found alot about 53-56 tho but I did not know if the colors were the same all the way up to 58. Also on my engine I can still see some teal color that has not worn off yet.. Was this an original color ? I googled some pictures and found several other 235 engines with the same color but I didnt know if that was factory or just a fad. Sorry for the dumb questions. Thanks for the help. I would be lost in my restore without this site..

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | with a 50+ year old truck it's unusual to find a totally unmolested engine, no telling whether it's been replaced or rebuilt or just repainted, and rebuilders prolly more commonly used the car blue then the truck gray, just like they commonly use orange for any Chev V8
