For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 56 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 56 | Can someone give me some insight, the pedal I ordered isn't the same. In this picture it shows my pedal on left which came out of my 1951. Note the round donut at the top which is where my gas linkage pops into. The pedal on right was orderd for a 51 but the horseshoe steel piece at top doesn't receive the linkage. Maybe my linkage has been changed out over the years??? Ideas? http://www.hoopzonebasketball.com/GasPedals.jpg | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | You have the 52-57 style ball end linkage. Your truck could have been modified or be a late 51' and got it as a running change. Most vendors sell both styles as reproductions. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 56 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 56 | Thanks Brad I'll look into other pedal! | | |
