Has anyone bolted the bed to the frame without drilling through the finished bed wood, the two front mounts look like they may be tough to do !! Thanks
I am going nowhere fast and it's not taking me long to get there !!!!
If you are doing an original style bed it may be nearly impossible. My bed is far from original so take my advice with a grain of salt.

done it , fabricated front mounts that are part of the front cross sill , so no mounts to be seen back mounts are bolts inside the stock mounting brackets on the rear cross sill which are bolted direct to the chssis rails only bolts seen in the rear are in the strips see my truck rear photo in the gallery not difficult just another step in the rebuild process
forgot to mention , made my own cross sills that were also fixed to the chassis rails assisting the front and rear mounts . stainless strips are bolted to the cross sills all 72 of them, cross sills bolted to the chassis rails
