I'm not certain how tight to torque the nut on. I read a post here earlier that seemed to say it should be less tight than factory specs. Should I follow the factory recommendations for the original wheel bearings ?

Turn the nut back on "by hand" until it is as tight as you can get it. Back it off just until you can get the cotter pin in. | | |

Simplicity leads to reliability.

Tapered bearings are'nt as sensitive to this, andBuilder's reccomendation is correct for the adjustment.

I imagine they are available from NAPA or elsewhere cheaper than the vendors have them but without the part numbers the FLAPS can't figure out what bearings or seals to use.
So, if you would post that that would be a great help for all of us!
