i've removed the starter and top four bellhousing bolts but i can't seem to be able to break it loose. i haven't completed my shop manual collection yet so i don't have anything on the v6 assembly so i'm asking here; what am i missing?
the engine/tran has been removed from the truck and is sitting on the ground if that makes a difference.
thanks

You would need to remove the transmission, then the clutch and flywheel to get to them if that is the case. It will be easier to handle the transmission and bellhousing separately anyway. | | |

had to pull an inspection type plate, then unbolt the tran from the bellhousing. pull the tran, pull the fork , pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel. then four more bolts for the bellhousing.
man all that stuff is heavy duty.....and heavy.
thanks
