For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 55 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 55 | Once upon a time I took my door apart so that it could be painted and new glass installed. Now much later I'm ready to put it back together . Upon looking at the parts I'm just not sure where and how some of these parts go together. Some of you have helped me out with other problems so I'm asking for some help here. If there is an exploded view of door it would be great. The truck is a 1953 chevy 1 ton. Many thanks!!! | | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,517 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,517 | I'm sure TCLederman (the encyclopeda brittanica of AD trucks) will come along shortly with an exploded view of a door assembly. Good Luck with your project. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | You should really get a shop manual it would really help on your build there are a bunch of parts that go into the door.I kept mine on the work bench and looked at it as I was installing the parts back into my 52-3100 also had the assembly manual.

I have several chips that I have refered to as I rebuild my ride. I take picks before I start to remove anything. It really helps this old buzzard a lot. 62Blue Don
