Removed a 216 and bellhousing from a 47-48 3/4 chevy truck and it didn't have any bolts in the rear motor/trans mount points.Mounts and rubber say they haven't been there for a while. The flywheel teeth are loose[just spinning around like a bicycle chain] on the flywheel on this unit--anyone think this may have contributed to this failure?Anyway, your help is needed on finding the specs on the bolts to buy. Thanks Sid Stephenson

If I remember right on my 52-3100 the bolts between the mounts and the bell housing were 3/8sx16x 1 inch and the bolts from the mounts thru the cross member were 7/16 coarse x 1 1/2 .

Its hard to say which was cause and which was effect or even that the two are related. They sure could be... Unless you can determine which happened first its going to be hard to say.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...

Thanks for the input ---I'll get these bolts and if they work great --if not I'll figure it out and let you know.As to the cause /effect on the teeth I'm guessing also we will never know ,but thougt that someone had run into this ,etc, etc. Thanks again.Sid Stephenson
