From your profile I assume you're refering to your 55 1st series truck.
The aftermarket kick panels would attach,I assume by trim clips or screws.
To my knowledge AD trucks were never fitted with panels from the factory.
Therefor,some kind of 'owner' fabrication would be required.

At Home Depot I found a roll of faux leather plastic shelf liner that has a sticky back. I bought black but it comes in a variety of colors for 5 or 6 bucks, and covered the cardboard with it. It looks nice and cleans up easily. They did take some tweeking with a razor knife and a dremel tool but look great. I didn't have any color choices but was going in black anyway, they can easily be covered if wanted. They mounted on a slightly sanded and well cleaned surface with two side sticky velcro. | | |
