I finally purchased a 1952 gmc panel. i have had my eye on it for two years but the price was too high for me. then the owner came down into my range and i jumped. it is a model 9435 with dual tanks and a 292 engine. it came with new rubber and three tranys one 5 speed installed and 2 ,4 speeds in the back. along with axles and brake pads and the pile of parts i ave not yet identified. does anyone have info on how to get a build sheet from a vin number. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 5,152 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 5,152 | Since you have a Canadian model number I assume you have a Canadian serial number too. If you post the number one of the Canadian members can probably interpret it for you. I don't think there is a way to get a build sheet to go with it.
The 292 is not the original motor and that 5-speed isn't original either.
I'm not up on Canadian model numbers. Is it a 1/2-ton or a 1-ton?
