me: "hi, my mirrorhead bolt broke when I was mounting it"
customer service lady: "we'll send you a new one"
what more could I ask for? just thought I'd share this, makes me happy there's still companies that work like this

I've bought a bunch of stuff from them. Their prices are good enough to match most of my local places even including the shipping. They ship fast too. Never had anything negative to say about them.

I've had great luck with them, and they seem to be priced more competitive than Brothers. Site is better too.

Well I gotta throw my hat in the ring also. Half the replacement parts for my '50 came from them, very fast service, no problems returning or replacing anything.
And one other thing, One 100° plus day we were at a Goodguys show at Chicagoland speedway. Not a cloud in the sky and blistering sun out on the asphalt pit area. After a couple of hours I was about to go blind and pass out from heat stroke because I forgot to bring a hat. All of the vendors including the parts vendors were selling their hats but I just couldn't bring my self to pay $20 to $30 for a stinkin' cheap baseball hat to advertise their company.
I stopped by the Classic Part of America display trailer and talked with them for a while when one of the guys noticed that my bald spot was getting quite red and offered me a hat, for nothing.
Just one more reason why I like to deal with these guys.

I too have had excellent service from Classic. My only suggestion to them would be to update their web site so that stock on hand would be visible to the customer before purchasing.

I'll add that most of my parts have come from them without any problems. Good quality and fast delivery. Don't forget your Stovebolt discount-every little bit helps.

I have bought $$$$$$$$$$$ in parts from this company in the last 3 years and they are the best people to deal with of all the vendors I have bought parts from. Excellent service, quick delivery and good prices.

I too buy from them for all the reasons listed. Plus, I like there actual part pics used in their catalog, not just a pen and ink depiction as used in others.

Very good company to work with. If your order is over $301 they will ship small items for free. All my stuff comes from them.

Classic Parts of America (still Chevy Duty in my mind and when Googling):
- excellent on-line catalog
- good selection
- excellent customer service
- free shipping on $300+ order is a GREAT deal
- excellent customer service
- ask them if they still give a free hat or shirt with $300 purchase

All these are excellent in customer service (no nonsense return/refunds):

I've had good service too, and have bought many parts from these people ever since the days when they were called Chevy Duty.

One other thing worth mentioning for overseas Stovebolters is that Classicparts haven't made a big deal out of shipping parts to the UK, unlike a number of other US parts suppliers, who often won't accept a non US credit card or won't ship parts outside of the US.

Since I started my 1/2 ton resurection, I have always used Classic Chevy parts as my Parts supplier,Great sevice and excellent shipping, (3 days from order placed to the UK) nothing is a problem and I would recommend them to anyone needing parts, speak to Carrie, she's very knowledgable and knows her stuff.

I have been ordering from them since the Chevy Duty days. I would say at least 95% of my non-local business is with them. I have never had any problems or bad things to say about that company. They did raise the limit on the free shipping though. It's now orders over $349.95 shipped free.

Prices good and shipping is in two days to Dallas. I haven't needed service yet...
I have used many vendors including LMC which has the best invoicing and packing I've found.

Classic parts - they just sent me a happy birthday wish for my birthday. Nice, huh -- they are a good vendor -- with lots of "class". Dale
