Found me a hydrovac at NAPA.My 48 Loadmaster had a broken rear spring and I found one of those too in a local yard .Problem is when I replaced it I also found worn bushings pins etc... on my truck. Can anyone recommend a source for these items?As always thanks for your responses.

I believe if you check sizes you'll find 3/4-ton and larger all use the same rear spring stuff with some spacers when the springs are different sizes.

I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble... | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 20 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 20 | When I redid the front springs on my 37 Chevy pickup I went to the local springworks (called Sacramento Spring) and they had all the bronze bushings on the shelf. He said that many of the new big trucks still use the same bushings because they work so well. And he could make you any replacement spring that you needed for a reasonable price. I would look for a local spring shop where you live, the older the better.
