However one book states "A selection of rear view mirrors and brackets to replace or add to the standard equipment supplied, providing rear vision under most situations." but only shows a right side exterior mirror and an extended exterior mirror. That still suggests there might be some types not shown. Since the rear window is often blocked in trucks, I guess it might not have originally been that useful. I thought there was another book around here.I just spent 10 minutes trying to find this binder that had the commercial truck listings.
47-50 was non glare 8 3/4" long and 53 only states, non glare but does not give measurements.

Listed in a Parts Price List Chevrolet book, dated January 2, 1942. Group 16.068 Part number 598779 at a cost of .80 cents each. This manual is for miltary 1/2 ton (4 x 2 ) cabs and Suburban Models. Book G-27. In all of my search, I can only find this. You all may be right. I have been looking for something that was not available to the public. I do have about 4 different interior mirrors, and was attempting to match one to a factory setup. Still interested in any photos of what may be out there. Looking for consistancy. Thanks | | |
