Hi All,
I need a little help here.
I have a 1942 Chevy 3/4 ton standard duty pick up. It is modified with a 350 crate motor and auto trans.
The 3/4 ton 4-speed pedal setup mounting is to the bell housing on the oem set up.
I have heard that the 1/2ton 3-speed pedal assembly mounts differently.
Could someone clarify this and possibly email a photo of the area with your floorboard removed so that I can see what it mounts to?
Thanks in advance.

there are 2 different pedal setups. 1 setup bolts the master cylinder to the transmission in a little cradle. The other, often found on larger trucks bolts the MC to the frame. Both setups use the bellhousing to mount the brake and clutch pedals.

As you have gone to the darkside by putting in the SBC and auto trans, you will likely have to use a Lokar gas pedal, and a hanging brake pedal setup, so the holes in the floor are moot.
