#64362 08/15/2006 2:02 AM | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | A 1948 and 49 216 will have a raised 2 inch diameter circle with 48 in the center of it between the distributor and the road draft tube. A 1950 will just have the circle with nothing in it.
You can also pull the starter and find the casting date behind it.
The casting number can help also.
