I have a 53 chevy 3100 and i have installed the ezwiring harness. i have a wire under the dash for a backup light switch but i am not sure where this switch mounts or where i can get it.

There is a circular bracket that holds the switch to the column under the dash. There is another actuator bracket that mounts to the shifter shaft. They normally were used on Cameo's that have BU lights in the taillight assy. I have not seen a reproduction. I have one and can send you a picture, send me an email.

you can make a bracket for the shifter and use a stop light switch.
