Does it matter which side goes to the inside of the hub (or outside)?? This is on a '39 pickup.

I appreciate it. The current seals are in backwards. They were installed maybe 25 years ago. I will have to rag the mechanic...me.

I think it's the newer rubber kind. I assume you mean the rubber lip. I will check it tonight...or tomorrow morning. Long day for an old fart, and supper is soon...I hope.
