I had 2” drop spindles put on the front of the truck and wanted to know if anyone reading this might have done the same. I have read several different things saying that if you drop the front end 2” then you are suppose to drop the rear 4”. Is this true? I wanted the truck to be slightly raked but I stress the word slightly. I have purchased new stock springs for the front and a rear replacement spring kit that will lower the rear-end 2” – 3” depending if you use a spacer provided with the kit. I was just looking for some input from someone that has done this already or at least helped someone do it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!! | | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 319 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 319 | I've read that there's a 2" difference, stock. Going 4" in back should end with a LEVEL truck. If you want a slight rake, go 3". Mine has 2" front & rear, so the rake is the same as stock...I put a load on every now & then.
