Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 355 | hi just aquired a 50 1/2ton front axle assmeble i mesured it and all and everything appears both visualy and appears to be exactly the same as far as axle perchs even how wide, are there going to be difference in the spindle or other things i can't yet see, see i have a disk brake conversion for the 39 i picked up last year "havn't used it yet" and i am hoping i can use it on the 50 front axle if anyone has info on this let me know thanks

My truck has a early 50's axle and the '37 brake kit I bought wouldn't fit. Something about the inner bearing wasn't right. I ordered a newer kit and it went right on. Joe | | |
