Bought my truck last summer from a guy out in Cibolo, TX. I found her on the craiglist listing made a call and went by during the week to look at it and gave the guy some cash to hold onto it for me and delete the posting. that weekend i went by to pay him off and pick up the truck with a flatbed tow truck (Aarons Trucking SA,TX) I plan on getting the truck in running condition for right now and will slowly work on the cosmetic stuff. It does turn on and runs but needs all the small stuff to be road ready. Thanks to fellow stovebolters that helped me get it started and also to stovebolters who sold some of there extra items to me. Check out the current pics at http://s845.photobucket.com/albums/ab19/ant242002/1951%203100Chevy%20Truck%20Restoration/

Welcome! I am new too, and from the Austin area. I am pretty sure I looked at that truck.

Zapata, great news you have. Looks like a good truck and I'll bet that crew you have there is the best around.
Keep us posted on your progress and let us know how/when we can help out.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
