I was thinking 60's or 70's chevy ford or dodge with the correct 1 3/16 and 1 1/4 bore. Thanks in advance, Dave | | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 202 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 202 | Hi, Dave , Check Chevs of the 40's for parts. If you have the stock brakes they are the Huck style with two adjusters on the cylinders, they were last used in 1952. They are more difficult to set up. Think about changing to the Bendix type.( 1953 and later)

I agree it is a good swap to change over from the Huck brakes. If you keep the Huck brakes you will have to use the same type wheel cyls. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. I bought 4 last year. BTW different units front and rear. ME-322 $55.00 front or rear
