I've got a 66 shortbox fleetside that was
lowered by the previous owner, haven't figured put yet what he did but i suspect he swapped the spindles sideto side and maybe cut the front springs, measuring from the fender lip over the tire to the ground i have 26" up front, anybody have a stock 66 with a stock measurment?

update on riding height, put the truck back together with stock
springs and 2" lowered spindles, 6 lug disc brake kit from lmc. truck rides at 30" from fender lip to ground (previous was 26"). if i was to do it all over again i would go with the 1" lowered springs, and the 2" spindles for a riding height of29", it would still have suspension travel and look lowered.
