Looking to swap out the 3.73 ratio in my 65 step to possibly 3.08`s. What years will bolt in without any mods?

I believe through the later 60's gears should work. I have a '65 half ton rear end in my 46 with the 3:08s, super gears for the highway. Also I think the late 60s axle was longer but gears should fit.
