| | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 45 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 45 | I'm switching from manual to power rack on my '49 , I did this same switch several years back on a '38 I had and got the pressure hose made up at the local NAPA , but now they can't seem to understand (or help) on what I need - a hose with the ford end for the rack and a chevy end for the pump .They keep asking me what year/model the rack is , I got it in a local salvage yard and it was not on a car , it is a ford and it bolts too my crossmember and the steering U-joint is for ford . Maybe a T-bird or ? but its NOT a pinto/must-II. what do I do for a hose now ?
