Hi everybody,

We're about to start working on my 57 Cab, and like all of you, I've ordered over the past 6 months a bunch of catalog. But going through Classic Parts catalog, I've realized that they have two different kind of cab corners - the only description is "Left" or "Left Deluxe" (same thing for the right side). There's also $50 difference between the two of them. Does anybody knows if that refers to "quality" of if there's realy a difference between regular and deluxe cab? When I've looked on some other supplier's web site, they offer only one. Since I already bought them, I'd rather know right away if I bought the right stuff.

Sometimes there is just a little rust in the lower corner and sometimes the corner was full of leaves and mud for 50years and the entire corner is rotted away. My guess would be that it has to do with the amount of rust your dealing with. That is, one takes up more terratory than the other. Best to call the vendor and ask them, alway better to hear it straight from the Horse's mouth.

Deluxe is probably inner and outer panels....

Since the standard and deluxe panels are the same dimensions, 1958GMCnut is probably correct. Denny's suggestion, however, is the prudent approach, especially since the phone call is free: 1-800-741-1678

I wondered if the deluxe version had a drain stamped in them,the 'cheaper' ones I bought dont.
Then I thought a $50 premium seemed a bit high for stamping a drain hole!
I think 1958GMCnut is probably nearer the mark as well.
As the guys say...give them a call!
