What are the advantages of either? I am going to start pricing today, so if one is cheaper by a lot, that might be a deciding factor, but I would have to know what I am giving up or getting an advantage if I go smaller or bigger? I couldn't find radial 7.50x20's when I was hunting tires a few years ago. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 863 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 863 | make sure that if you are going from 7.50 to 8.25 that the duals don' touch together....
I have a qoute from ITC in langley for steer tires 8.25 x 20"
for $196.00...don't know what make though...

I know it sounds like some sort of ointment.

All the originals on my truck are 8.25 X 20. They were steering on the front, and traction on the back, but I will most likely put steering all around. Not a big deal as long as you remember not to cut the wheels all the way. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,997 Big Bolt Forum Co-moderator | | Big Bolt Forum Co-moderator Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,997 | Dang I emailed Nebraska Tire over two weeks ago and still haven't heard back from them. I don't like it much when a company has an email and doesn't answer. One of the major AD truck parts guys is the same way. You have to call them if you want an answer. Very nice style selections and a wide range of sizes. Prices are reasonable and include both flaps and tubes. Denman TiresDenman has a good reputation. Have 8.25 x 20 on my 1948 GMC 3 ton, front and rear, no issues with front tire rub, plenty of space between rear tires. Billyray
