Here is what my tire guy told me today: I have found six 8R22.5 Westlake CR970's. They are about 120 days out and cost 224.91 each with $20.00 FET plus tax and state fee. For all six mounted, new stems and tax in is $1627.15. I would need half up front to order. I'm sorry it took this long to get back to you. I have to make the order as soon as possible to get them in the next container load. So given the price and a 4 month wait I am now trying to decide if 9R22.5's would be a wiser decision in case of future repairs or blowouts requiring a new tire. The 9's are a common enough tire and not much more in price I think. 2 days away rather than 120. The price you got for no name imported tires is the same as I last got for big name imported for straight tread fronts and some pretty aggressive rears.
The 9R22.5 are quite common and have a number of different tread patterns available as well as different (some better)manufacturers.
The tires I'm running now are good used Michelins found on craigslist for very cheap. Take a look on craigslist, you may find a similar deal.

If so then continue on as planned.

So far it looks like there is plenty of room. Will need to wait to get the full set of tires to put the rest on. Hopefully in a couple weeks if i find some. | | |
