I have to get different running boards for my 50 Chevy truck (rusted out). I see LMC has chrome ones for sale. Anyone put them on and how do they look?

I with T'mater on this one. I'll also ad this. Bad place for chrome, it will wear super fast, rust and then be costly to strip and paint.

You didn't say what color your truck was but the darker the color the more they will stand out.
Take some alum.foil and cover the running board, stand back and look at it and see if you like it.

I wouldn't do it cause any piece of chrome you can afford to buy today is mostly cheap plating and will show rust in in a short time.

The aluminum foil trick sounds good. I will try it to see.
