I am going to instal a th700r4 trans behind my 250ci inline 6.
The last issue I have not resolved yet is the TV cable (aka throttle valve cable). Because the carb (or in my caes the throttle body) is on the driver side of the engine (as opposed to the center of the engine on a V8), I need a much longer TV cable: which one to use?
People with the same swap, what TV cable have you used? What vehicles have a long TV cable? I would prefer OEM, but am open to anything reliable!
Or, what other solution have you guys used?

I would suggest contacting Bow Tie Overdrives in Hesperia California. I have one of their 2004R transmissions in a Chevy powered '32 Ford roadster.

The 700R4 and 2004R will self destruct very quickly without the correct throttle-TV cable geometry. Bow Tie provides information, hardware and very detailed specifications for hydraulic pressure checking to confirm correct settings.

I have found that mid '80s 3/4 and 1-ton pick-ups had a 292ci with a 700R4, so I am slowly getting somewhere!
