Hello everyone and thank you for letting me join. My dad and i are in the process of building a 38 chevy pickup. we are streetrodding it out. we started with a 3/4ton and i cut it down to a 1/2ton. and we have a mustang II front suspension with a late 80'2 model chevy elcamino rearend. the power is a 62 yr 283ci with a 700r4 trans. dad like it due to overdrive. well we will get some more info on it and some pics to but thanks and i plan on using all of your advice and critizium too. Thanks.

Welcome Wildman38. Let us know how we can help.... and your dad is right. The overdrive on the 700R4 is nice. I love the one I put in my 37.
