I have tried doing a search for a particular subject and always come up with something close and a whole lot of other stuff I don't need. I tried putting in the astrick (*) at the end of the key word. Maybe I'm missing something? Is there any one that knows the abc,s of doing a thorough search? I have a feeling I'm not the only one. Any suggestions would be great.

But a quick summary- put a + sign in front of each word you want it to search on. You can use quotation marks around a string of words or a phrase that will contain all those words. Short and simple works best. If you have the time it is amazing what you can learn by reading the posts that do not really pertain to your question.
