I recently bought a Shop Manual CD from ClassicTruck.com. Unfortunately, I never received info on the shippment. Order status on website was confusing, telling that it had a problem so I reordered.- Now I have two CD and no one to call. On the website, there is no address, email or phone. Anybody knows how to contact these guys?

Thanks

Nope.

Someone posted their URL a while ago. As you know, they have no contact information on their website. Looks dangerous to me.

Is there no address on the invoice/receipt/shipping-list?

Also known as American Classic Truck Parts. I don't understand why they won't put their contact info on that site.

Thanks. I've seen the American Classic website, with the same American flag banner and everything, but didn't think it was the same. I'll call them tomorrow.

If they are the same, they seem to be disguising themselves as two companies?

I don't know what is going on with them but they are the same company with multiple offices and warehouses. We had this discussion a couple months ago. John and Peggy vouched for them at the time. and they are one of the contributing vendors on the stovebolt homepage.

I was the first to question the website and made some inquiry and shot off some emails. Stovebolter Classic_man is the owner of the companies.

Contact the better business bureau if you cant get a hold of em' and file a complaint that usually straightens out people like that. Or if they refuse to reply to you threaten them with it.

I would call them first and speak with someone who has the authority to say "yes" and fix the problem. If that fails and you paid with a credit card, just call your credit card company and ask to do a charge back. You will probably have to return the merchandise at your expense, but that is better than eating the whole bill.

If it was bought from the company DBA Classic Truck, how would you go about calling them?

Actually they sent both CD's so no complaint on the delivery service. Also, the price was the cheapest on the web, even cheaper than Ebay. Shipping a little expensive, but cheaper anyway. What hitted me was that there was no contact info, which would have solved the problem in the first time I saw my order had problems, I would have email them and find out what was wrong, before reordering. The problem is that they have no update on the status of the order, if it is backordered, shipped or whatever. If they shall answer at American Classic Truck and accept the return, I guess I'll lose the restocking fees, the shipping from there to here, but as Hankdogg says, better than nothing. I'm in Guatemala, so the shipping back is going to hurt a bit. If you know somebody that want the 47-59 maintenance manuals, I have one on sale. Cheers you guys.
