For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 129 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 129 | Hi everybody, I finally registered on this site, even though my truck has a 283 instead of a 6. It's a '58 short Fleetside half ton, and as of Dec. '09, a Napco 4WD. I bought the truck in 1987 and have pretty much just driven it when I need to haul stuff. The 283 was installed before I bought the truck, but it must have had a 6 cylinder motor originally. It always runs well but needs body work and paint. But the Napco install, and later, a pto and winch, are higher priority for me. Here are a couple of pictures (the third one is an avatar for other forums), if non members of the Napco forum can view them: Ed's Truck

There's a few Napco fans here and they'll be more than helpful for any info or tech tips you might need. I look forward to following your progress. 1950 Chevy Advance Design 3100 in ScotlandIn the Stovebolt GalleryMore pix on Flickr.
